Vision:
Discovering God
Increasing awareness
Reclaiming ourselves
Regulating emotions
Focusing my life’s journey
Characteristics:
-
Christ-Centered
Exploring our narratives is a profoundly spiritual and sacred journey. Christ is at the core of our resilience during tough times and when we pursue change. We are designed by God to embrace life to its fullest, and God serves as the wellspring of strength and enlightenment as we evolve and grow.
-
Client-Focused
Within each person resides a God-given longing to be understood and to embrace fully the profound narratives of our lives. Having a guide to foster personal development, aiding us in recognizing our blind spots and acknowledging our inherent beauty, can bring awareness in ways that navigating alone might not unveil. Counseling is most impactful when seen as a joint endeavor, merging your self-knowledge with the support of a trusted companion dedicated to nurturing your journey towards a fulfilling and thriving life.
-
Clinically-Based
Recognizing the multidimensional nature of our lives and acknowledging that we are created in the image of God with intricacy and awe, counseling methodologies provide opportunities for individuals to merge their faith with the most effective practices drawn from contemporary clinical research.
Luke Campbell, MDiv., MA, LPC-MHSP
As a clinical counselor I value creating space for intentional listening to discover and discern how personal uniqueness can find expression within the contours of life. I work collaboratively with individuals, families and adolescents to grow awareness around the stories we tell ourselves. Sometimes these are strong, positively thick stories, and I enjoy celebrating progression with another when this occurs. More often than not in counseling, I find that our normal human experiences bring with them the challenge of embracing life as it actually is.
Throughout my career as a counselor I have had the opportunity to help others who are working through anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addictions, trauma, marital and relational conflict, parenting challenges, vocational and career issues, and issues related to disability. In addition, as a veteran, I frequently work with veteran's issues.
I believe we care best for what we understand and that limited insight disorients us. One of the most significant challenges in life is to simply be ourselves, to be fully alive with all of our God-given gifts, talents and skills. I welcome individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.
Let’s work together.
