Luke is a Licensed Professional Counselor—Mental Health Service Provider in the state of Tennessee and a Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois.

He received Masters Degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Deerfield, Illinois, and a Bachelors in Youth Ministry from King University in Bristol, Tennessee.

Luke served on active-duty military for four years; it was during this time God interrupted his life with the freedom of grace, which drew him into a lifelong journey of learning how to receive it.  Luke has an extensive history of working with the church as a youth pastor, church planter and most recently as a senior pastor.  Today, Luke’s desire is to serve the local church through professional counseling.

Luke values creating space for intentional listening to discover how personal uniqueness can find expression within the contours of life. He believes we cannot care for what we do not understand and that limited insight ultimately limits us from being fully alive with our God-given gifts, talents, and skills.

Luke has over 13 years of professional counseling experience and offers specialties in spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, marital and relational conflict, vocational and career issues, and trauma-based therapy.  In addition, as a veteran, Luke frequently works with veteran's issues. He has completed training in S.A.F.E. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and equine-assisted psychotherapy. Luke welcomes individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.
